Get lost in the fire!

Have you ever loved someone so much that you got lost in the fire?

I have! And I am still lost in the fire, it is still burning, more and more every day. I wake up before you and I secretly reminisce all the lovely things you said, you did and you made me feel the day before! I light a match every morning and my fire is growing growing growing!

A red, red rose

By Robert Burns

O my Luve’s like a red, red rose,
That’s newly sprung in June:
O my Luve’s like the melodie,
That’s sweetly play’d in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry.

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.

And fare-thee-weel, my only Luve!
And fare-thee-weel, a while!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho’ ’twere ten thousand mile!

Today’s inspiration… from The Girl From Ipanema

Olha que coisa mais linda
Mais cheia de graça
É ela menina
Que vem e que passa
Num doce balanço
Caminho do mar
Moça do corpo dourado
Do sol de Ipanema
O seu balançado
É mais que um poema
É a coisa mais linda
Que eu já vi passar
Ah! porque estou tão sozinho
Ah! porque tudo é tão triste
Ah! a beleza que existe
A beleza que não é só minha
Que também passa sozinha
Ah! Se ela soubesse
Que quando ela passa
O mundo sorrindo
Se enche de graça
E fica mais lindo
Por causa do amor

Today’s inspiration from Pentatonix

A very interesting group with an unique singing technique.

“Vocal sensations and winners of season 3 of NBC’s The Sing-Off, Pentatonix are taking instrument-free music far beyond anyone’s wildest expectations. Named after the world’s most widely recognized five-note music scale, this quintet has transformed one of pop music’s purest and most soulful expressions into an exciting future, filled with limitless sonic possibility. From their original tracks to their intricate reimagining of pop hits and epically complex arrangements and medleys, Pentatonix have quickly developed a sound and style that is entirely unique and undeniably infectious.” Facebook source

Today’s inspiration from Logan and Veronica

I discovered Veronica in my university years. I recognize at the beginning I was not that into the series, but I kept on watching, mostly, because it sounded better than studying. Three episodes down the line… I was hooked.

Spunky and clever, sweet and always in love with “the wrong guy”. Somehow, it reminded me of high school. Over all, a good character in an interesting series.

Logan, hmmm, what can I say about Logan… Yes, I like him, partially because it reminds me of my high school boyfriend, but also because Jason did a great job.

Like all fans, I waited patiently for season 2 and then season 3 and then… it was over.

This year they made a movie, not a bad one, but, in my opinion, not that exciting if you have not seen the series.

To be fair, I am still waiting for season 4! 😀

Get inspired, marshmallows!

Logan: Come on, you know I’m not talking about Hannah. I thought our story was epic, you know, you and me.
Veronica: Epic how?

Logan: I thought our story was epic, you know. You and me. Spanning years and continents. Lives ruined and blood shed. Epic. But summer’s almost here and we won’t see each other all. And then you’ll leave town, and then… it’s over.

Today’s inspiration from a dear friend

I am so proud of you Mike! You made it!

Your music makes me dream, takes me to places never touched by human selfishness. Very few composers manage to transform feelings into sounds like you do.

Last but ot least, I MISS YOU!

For those who have not met Mike (Mihai Toma) and his music yet:

227800_10151284047343177_1659069428_nMihai Toma was born in Romania and  became a self-taught musician around the age of 16. Being a fan of Vangelis he was drawn to synthesized music and and embraced the electronic sounds.

He got to play traditional flutes, guitars, keyboards and various percussion instruments. After releasing several lounge songs for the Morandi band, he wrote and produced a ‘chill out – soundtrack ‘ album called Soft Touch with a string quartet called Passione.

After living in Norway for over 2 years, he discovered a special connection with his native country, which inspired him to write a full album of world – electronic music with Romanian folk influences, called Flutaka”
